Gabrielle has recently undertaken an artist’s residency in Penang, Malaysia. There, she worked on experimental drawings and paintings based mainly on floorplans of heritage listed sites on the island, exploring the relationship between place, patterns and identity. Her exhibition ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie go feral’ influenced by May Gibbs’ characters, appeared last year. You can read more about Gabrielle on her website.
